On this day, 30 years ago, on Aug 21st 1987 Metallica released "The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited". Prior to the masterpiece "...and Justice for All".
This was the group's first recording to feature the new bassist Jason Newsted. Later on, all five tracks are included in the compilation album of cover songs "Garage Inc." (1998).
