Dutch symphonic metal band EPICA just released another single from their new album, The Holographic Principle; it’s called “Edge of the Blade,” and I think I like it even more than I did the record’s first single, “Universal Death Squad,” which was released in July. It’s just so catchy and… well… epic(a)! And keep in mind, I usually give zero, half a fuck tops about power metal, so the fact that these cats are two for two so far suggests that The Holographic Principle may be special. Special to Epica fans or special only to those of us who do not usually consider ourselves Epica fans, I dunno.
The Holographic Principle will be released on September 30 via Nuclear Blast.
