DYSCARNATE "Traitors in the Palace" (Official Lyric Video)

The UK's death metal band, DYSCARNATE's third album "With All Their Might" is soon released  via Unique Leader Records on September 15th, produced by Stu McKay (Ingested, Acrania) at Studio 6 in England, and mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Volbeat, Evergrey) at Hansen Studios in Denmark.

MASTODON Launch Official Video "Steambreather"

Atlanta progressive metallers MASTODON, launched the officiall video "Steambreather". Song taken from the band's latest album, "Emperor Of Sand". Out last March 2017 and now debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album was recorded at The Quarry Recording Studio in Kennesaw, just outside MASTODON's hometown, with producer Brendan O'Brien (PEARL JAM, NEIL YOUNG, AC/DC, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE), who first worked with MASTODON on their seminal 2009 album "Crack The Skye".

BELPHEGOR Release Official Lyric Video "Apophis - Black Dragon"

European diabolical death/black metal veteran, BELPHEGOR, just released an official lyric video for the song "Apophis - Black Dragon". The track is taken from the band's new album, "Totenritual", which will be released on September 15 via Nuclear Blast. The album was recorded at Stage One Studios in Germany and Studio Mischmaschine in Austria and was mixed by Jason Suecof and mastered by Mark Lewis at Audiohammer Studios in Florida.

The album artwork created by Greek artist Seth Siro Anton, who also painted the cover artwork for 2006's "Pestokalypse VI" and 2014's "Conjuring The Dead". Check it out below.

BELPHEGOR singer, guitarist and founder Helmuth Lehner commented: "It is the most brutally heavy offering we have consecrated thus far. The drums are precise and very technical with loads of breaks, fills and tempo changes. The bass is like a panzer tank. Also, the rhythm guitars are utterly aggressive and obscure. You don't hear guitars like that anywhere with such a massively low tuning."

Watch ARCH ENEMY's Official Video For New Song 'The Eagle Flies Alone'

Swedish melodic death metal band, ARCH ENEMY has released the official video for its new single, "The Eagle Flies Alone", taken from the band's upcoming album, "Will To Power", out on this September 8. Produced by Michael Amott and drummer Daniel Erlandsson, "Will To Power" was mixed and mastered by longtime collaborator and friend Jens Bogren (OPETH, AT THE GATES, DIMMU BORGIR). The album's captivating cover artwork was designed by Alex Reisfar.

The video was director by Patric Ullaeus. Music and lyrics by Michael Amott

Michael Amott, the guitarist, said: "Strangely enough, this is a song I wrote in sunny Mexico last year, but fear not — ARCH ENEMY hasn't gone mariachi on you! On the contrary, this song is steeped in classic metal and melancholic Scandinavian atmosphere. Lyrically, this is an anthemic warcry to all fellow individualists around the heavy metal world. We shot the video with our director Patric Ullaeus in Sweden on the coldest outdoor shoot I can recall ever doing! The end result was totally worth it; it turned out beautifully. I guess sometimes you really have to suffer for the art!"

Michael told TotalRock: "The writing never really stops; I'm always fiddling around on the guitar. I come up with a little idea, record it and save it. And then piece it all together later on. The actual real writing of the new album, 'Will To Power', started about a year and a half ago," he continued. "We started seriously putting together demos and so forth. So it was a fun process. When you've not recorded an album for two and a half [or] three years, it's really fun to get into that creative mindset again and enter the studio.

"Will To Power" is the second ARCH ENEMY album since the departure of singer Angela Gossow. It is also the first ARCH ENEMY album to feature guitarist Jeff Loomis, who joined the band in late 2014.

Today, THE HAUNTED Release "Strength in Numbers"

Swedish metal band, THE HAUNTED, is releasing their ninth studio album, "Strength In Numbers", today, this August 25 via Century Media. The album was recorded at Parlour Studios in the U.K. with producer Russ Russell (NAPALM DEATH, DIMMU BORGIR, THE EXPLOITED).

THE HAUNTED stated: "We're very excited to finally be able to air our first single from the new album, 'Strength In Numbers', and let it set the tone for the brutality of the album. 'Brute Force' is one of those songs written in the early stage of making the album and shows our hunger to make new music, uncompromising, unforgiving and just to the point."

The artwork for "Strength In Numbers" was created by  Andreas Pettersson.
