ANTHRAX performed Kansas' "Carry On Wayward Son". They recorded their cover of the song as a bonus track added to the expanded vinyl edition of their For All Kings album. Anthrax have issued the For All Kings 7″ box set, which is currently available for purchase. In addition to “Carry On Wayward Son,” fans will also find a cover of The White Stripes’ “Black Math” in the collection.
Thrash metal legend, ANTHRAX, launched a lyric video for the track "Suzerain" from the their critically acclaimed album "For All Kings" via Nuclear Blast
The lyrics speaks about a leader who would be so powerful that all nations, all people, would come under his benevolent authority, and in return, he would bring peace, happiness and prosperity to all of Earth. Ian Scott said "Mankind keep making the same mistakes over and over. You'd think that after thousands of years of religious, economic and ideologic wars, we'd have figured out how to live with each other, but we haven't. That's what drew me to the idea for 'Suzerain'."
"For All Kings" sold over 34,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 9 on The Billboard 200 chart.

ANTHRAX released the official video for "Monster At The End", a song from the band's latest studio album, "For All Kings".
Speaking about the video, Benante commented, “The ‘Monster at the End’ video takes us back to our love of comics and horror. We’ve always loved the Creepshow movies and wanted something like that for this video. Jack [Bennett, director] is easy to work with, all we did was perform the song, he did the real work with the editing and achieving the look that we wanted.”
The "Monster At The End" vinyl single, which came out last month, is backed by the track "Vice Of The People", which was previously released as a bonus song on the Japanese version of "For All Kings". The single is available in four different colors: Lilac, silver, black and gold (Nuclear Blast mailorder exclusive).
Happy Anniversary ANTHRAX. On July 18th 1981 ANTHRAX was formed in New York city.
Anthrax was formed in Queens, New York City, on July 18, 1981 by guitarists Scott Ian and Dan Lilker. The band was named after the disease of the same name which Ian saw in a biology textbook. The name was chosen because it sounded "sufficiently evil". Anthrax's initial line-up was completed by singer John Connelly, drummer Dave Weiss and bassist Paul Kahn. Kahn was briefly replaced by bassist Kenny Kushner before Lilker took over on bass and Greg Walls joined as lead guitarist. Weiss was then replaced early on by Greg D'Angelo, who was recommended to the band by Greg Walls. Scott Ian's younger brother Jason Rosenfeld was a temporary vocalist until Ian's former schoolmate Neil Turbin joined the band in late August 1982. The band recorded its first demo tape during this time. Charlie Benante (drums) later joined in 1983 followed by Frank Bello (bass) and Joey Belladonna (lead vocals) in 1984
