Watch ARCH ENEMY's Official Video For New Song 'The Eagle Flies Alone'

Swedish melodic death metal band, ARCH ENEMY has released the official video for its new single, "The Eagle Flies Alone", taken from the band's upcoming album, "Will To Power", out on this September 8. Produced by Michael Amott and drummer Daniel Erlandsson, "Will To Power" was mixed and mastered by longtime collaborator and friend Jens Bogren (OPETH, AT THE GATES, DIMMU BORGIR). The album's captivating cover artwork was designed by Alex Reisfar.

The video was director by Patric Ullaeus. Music and lyrics by Michael Amott

Michael Amott, the guitarist, said: "Strangely enough, this is a song I wrote in sunny Mexico last year, but fear not — ARCH ENEMY hasn't gone mariachi on you! On the contrary, this song is steeped in classic metal and melancholic Scandinavian atmosphere. Lyrically, this is an anthemic warcry to all fellow individualists around the heavy metal world. We shot the video with our director Patric Ullaeus in Sweden on the coldest outdoor shoot I can recall ever doing! The end result was totally worth it; it turned out beautifully. I guess sometimes you really have to suffer for the art!"

Michael told TotalRock: "The writing never really stops; I'm always fiddling around on the guitar. I come up with a little idea, record it and save it. And then piece it all together later on. The actual real writing of the new album, 'Will To Power', started about a year and a half ago," he continued. "We started seriously putting together demos and so forth. So it was a fun process. When you've not recorded an album for two and a half [or] three years, it's really fun to get into that creative mindset again and enter the studio.

"Will To Power" is the second ARCH ENEMY album since the departure of singer Angela Gossow. It is also the first ARCH ENEMY album to feature guitarist Jeff Loomis, who joined the band in late 2014.

ARCH ENEMY Launch Official Video "The World Is Yours"

Check out "The World Is Yours". The first single of Arch Enemy from the highly anticipated album "Will To Power". Ready to be unleashed on September 8th via Century Media Records.

Guitarist Michael Amott says: “We've been hard at work on the new album for a while now and we're proud to present the first taste of new Arch Enemy music in over three years with our new single and video for The World Is Yours. This was the first song I wrote for Will To Power and drummer Daniel Erlandsson helped me arrange and finish it up – one of many songs we co-wrote and co-produced this time around. We had a blast recording together with the full band in the south of Sweden and then mixing with Jens Bogren, who did a superb mix and mastering – in my opinion even surpassing the epic sound on our previous record War Eternal. People that have heard this song in particular are saying it's got the classic anthemic Arch Enemy vibe going on and I think they might be right about that. Looking forward to playing it live on stage later this summer!”

Check out "The World is Yours" here:

The track list for the album is:
1. Set Flame to the Night
2. The Race
3. Blood in the Water

6. Reason to Believe
7. Murder Scene
8. First Day in Hell

CRADLE OF FILTH Release The First Video "Heartbreak And Séance"

U.K. Gothic black extreme metal band Cradle of Filth just released an official video for the song "Heartbreak And Séance". The track is the first single from the upcoming twelfth studio album, "Cryptoriana - The Seductiveness Of Decay", which will be released on September 22 via Nuclear Blast.

The frontman Dani Filth commented: "The album is deeply infused with Victorian gothic horror and thus the title is a reflection of that. 'Cryptoriana' implies the Victorian's infatuation with the supernatural, the grave and the ghoulish. And the subtitle 'The Seductiveness Of Decay' further cements this attraction to death and the glittering lengthy process of self-annihilation. We, as a band, are incredibly excited about hitting the U.K. and Ireland for a full run of dates around All Hallows Eve, as playing the band's home country is always great fun and the audiences here are very receptive. And nuts. The dates will be the first in a long line of shows that will extend throughout the rest of the world throughout 2018. We aim to be very prolific on the live front, delivering a show worthy of our fans' exalted expectations and more."

AVENGED SEVENFOLD vocalist M. Shadows says "We're massive fans of MR. BUNGLE, 'Retrovertigo' is one of their softer songs and a particular favorite of ours and we thought it'd be a fun twist to make a heavy version. We hope this song encourages the uninitiated to dig a little deeper into the brilliant world of MR. BUNGLE. Watch DECAPITATED's Official Video "Earth Scar"

Polish death metal masters DECAPITATED launched official video "Earth Scar", from their 7th studio album, ANTICULT, out on July 7, 2017 via Nuclear Blast Records. The video was directed by
Dariusz Szermanowicz and produced by GRUPA13

'ANTICULT' highlights just how vital Decapitated have remained two decades deep into their career. Decapitated have long been undeniable masters of their craft and they are expanding their parameters with Anticult, which should elevate the band's profile beyond the death metal realm in which it has dominated for years.

"Anticult represents the legacy and future of Decapitated," said guitarist Vogg. "We're extremely proud of the record, in both the song compositions and the production. This is the best representation of our music and we're really excited for the world to hear it!"

The album's massive musical leap forward is evidenced by "Never." It's a song with an incredible bite and retains Decapitated's signature fury. But it's also undeniably catchy and takes up residence in your brain and stays there.

"'Never,' the first track we are showcasing from the record, is fast, it's technical, and most importantly, it's heavy," Vogg commented. "For us, it's what Decapitated is all about… and it will be really fun to play live. Enjoy it!"

Vocalist Rasta weighed in about the subject matter of "Never," offering this insight into the lyrical content: "There is no mystical, doomish fate waiting for us. The only judgment pending is our own. The simple relationship between cause and effect is what determines our future. We are now witnessing something that should never have happened — our homes have become our civilization's grave."

'ANTICULT' Track Listing:
1. Impulse
2. Deathvaluation
3. Kill the Cult
4. One Eyed Nation
5. Anger Line
6. Earth Scar
7. Never
8. Amen

The Band:
Rafał Piotrowski – Vocals
Waclaw “Vogg” Kieltyka – Guitars
Hubert Wiecek- Bass
Michal Lysejko - Drums

Lyrics:
My best is pointless, outrun but I’ll never win
This state of conflict… makes sense, don’t think about it
I ran away when I was 15; I was dead by 17
I know the world owes me everything
I’m gonna take it- I’m gonna make it

Walking On The Warmer Stones/Going Nowhere, Now I’m Here
Not A Name For What I Am/ I Guess I’m Just Another Demon of Mercy

All talk, no action… completely incomplete
Why wish me well when I know exactly what you think?
I came alive when I was 18; You forget- I’m everything
I know the world owes me nothing
So I’ll take it- if I can make it

Walking On The Warmer Stones/Going Nowhere, Now I’m Here
Not A Name For What I Am/Your God’s A Weapon, He Blessed Every Bullet
Walking On The Warmer Stones/Going Nowhere, Now I’m Here
Not A Name For What I Am/ I Guess I’m Just Another Demon of Mercy
SOLO (Tooch)

Tell Me Anything/Tell Me Anything
Overrated and Under-appreciated
Anything/Tell Me Anything
Before you know it, you’ll be-

Walking On The Warmer Stones/Going Nowhere, Now I’m Here
Not A Name For What I Am/Your God’s A Weapon, He Blessed Every Bullet
Walking On The Warmer Stones/Going Nowhere, Now I’m Here
Not A Name For What I Am/ I Guess I’m Just Another Demon of Mercy

Watch Korn's Official Video for 'Black Is The Soul'

Watch Korn's official video for 'Black Is The Soul'. Taken from the band's latest album, "The Serenity Of Suffering", which came out at the end of October, last year.

KORN frontman, Jonathan Davis stated: "'Black Is The Soul' is a song about being pulled away from the right path and the video reflects that experience of trying to navigate those conflicting emotions." While guitarist James "Munky Shaffer added: "I feel that this songwriting and production paired with the aesthetic look of the video shows a maturity and growth from the band that is continually evolving."

KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch said "The working title for that song was 'Mary Ellen Thrash', 'cause her name is Mary Allen and then it turned into 'Black Is The Soul', which is kind of creepy after it being named after my mom. Jonathan wrote that as one of the first songs, and he really did a good job on that one. And the lyrics… I love that line, actually: 'Black is the soul that's led astray.' 'Cause we've all been there — we've all been led astray in some in life that is unhealthy."

HATE is Back With a New Video "Nominosum"

The death metal veteran from Warsaw, Poland, HATE, is back with the new video "Nominosum" from the upcoming album "Tremendum" out May 5th 2017. The video was produced by 9LITER FILMY and directed by Błażej Jankowiak.

Tremendum sets a new and strong opening for the well-known Polish extreme metal act HATE. You will re-discover the band and on a new level, as they seem to reach into different musical resources including progressive beats, ingenious song structures and a completely new sound, which is still authentically harsh and yet very powerful. HATE have refined their formula and have created an album that re-establishes them as a serious player on the scene. The material's title Tremendum (eeriness and the fear of the holy) refers to an archaic notion of holiness, which is both good and evil (But after listening to the first few minutes of HATE's brand new work, you will have absolutely no doubt which part of it this band represents!). Fast and well defined songs set a new standard in the band's songwriting. Beware! The amount of fierceness on the album is beyond anything HATE have ever done before, yet the structure of the songs let you submerge in them as soon as you press play.

Both concerts present a spectacular sound scenario of raging black metal in front of an epic orchestral landscape plus the band's unique visuals. In addition to the two concerts, "Forces Of The Northern Night" will include a bonus documentary feature.

DIMMU BORGIR's May 28, 2011 concert at the Oslo Spektrum in Norway, which is included on "Forces Of The Northern Night", featured a special setlist with 53 members of KORK (the Norwegian Radio Orchestra) and 30 members of the Schola Cantorum choir, who were musical guests on the band's ninth studio album, 2010's "Abrahadabra". The show was professionally filmed and was broadcast as part of a one-hour documentary in June 2011 on NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation), the Norwegian government-owned radio and television public broadcasting company and the largest media organization in Norway.

DIMMU BORGIR frontman Stian Thoresen (a.k.a. Shagrath) says "For us, this is the pinnacle of our career so far. As a band, we've always used a lot of symphonic elements in our music. But we haven't been able to use a real orchestra. We've had to use samples, synthesizers and so on, so this was a huge, awesome experience for us."

In an interview with Scuzz TV, DIMMU BORGIR guitarist Sven Atle Kopperud (a.k.a. Silenoz) stated about the experience of performing with an orchestra: "It was, of course, really special, especially since it was in Oslo, and a lot of people traveled in for the show from all over the world. And everything went great on stage for once. When you have a hundred people on stage, the percentage of something going wrong is definitely there, but it was really, really good. You think your band is professional, then you play with an orchestra, and then you know, 'Oh, we're not so professional after all.'"
